How do I get there?
The Maison of Ulysse is located in the centre of the village of Baron, 10 minutes from Uzès,
Baron is a small village in the south of France, in the centre of the Gard département, in the Occitanie region. It enjoys a Mediterranean climate.
The municipality boasts a remarkable natural heritage, including a natural zone of ecological, faunistic and floristic interest.
Baron is a rural commune, part of theNîmes catchment area.
The commune is located between Alès (20 km) and Uzès (13 km).
You can reach Maison d'Ulysse by train. There are many daily connections to the stations in the towns closest to our luxury hotel, i.e. Nîmes and Avignon.
Nîmes TGV station is just 30 minutes from our luxury hotel in Provence, while Avignon TGV station is around 45 minutes from La Maison d'Ulysse. You can take EUROSTAR direct from London Pancras to Avignon TGV in 5.30 hours.
You can also reach us by air, as there are three airports within an hour and a half of our charming hotel in Provence. You can arrive at Nîmes airport, which is 40 minutes from us, or Montpellier airport, which is 60 minutes away, or Marseille airport, which is 90 minutes from Maison d'Ulysse.
For those of you who prefer to travel in complete privacy and peace of mind, there is another alternative that can also be considered for arrival by air. You can take advantage of a personalised trip on a private jet that will take you to one of the airports closest to our charming house in Provence. You can land at Nîmes, Montpellier, Marseille or Alès DEAU airports, just 8 km from our luxury hotel.
We can organise your transfer from Avignon and Nîmes train stations and from Nîmes, Montpellier and Marseille airports (discount 20 % on the meter).
We'll take care of you, even during your stay! If you want to make the most of the region's best addresses and sample some of Provence's finest grape varieties during an evening out, don't forget to take a taxi home with you.
