We're lucky enough to be well off in terms of golf:
15 minutes from the house, Uzès Golf Club https://www.golfuzes.fr/A family golf course in the countryside, this nine-hole course offers a wealth of variations and difficulties to appeal to beginners and experienced players alike.
30 minutes away, Golf de Nîmes VACQUEROLLES http://www.golf-nimes.com/ Designed by Bill Baker, it features numerous left doglegs, plateau greens and difficult par 3s. It has a total length of 6185 m - par 72 (18 holes). Vacquerolles is a championship course that regularly hosts 1st division championships and 2nd category tournaments.
But also, Golf de Nîmes CAMPAGNE https://golfnimescampagne.com/Situated on a vast estate planted with oak trees and rolling hills, the course was designed in 1967 by architects Léonard MORANDI and Donald HARRADINE. Prestigious champions such as Greg Norman, Nick Faldo, Bernhard Langer, Ian Woosnan and José Maria Olazabal have played at Campagne. The course was renovated in 2023. The work was monitored by Alessandro Reyes, master of courses for the Ryder Cup in Europe (18 holes).

Well sheltered behind long dykes, Port Camargue plage sud is a hot spot for freestyle kitesurfers. It's easy to get to, easy to park and often easy to ride. On a windy day, it's not unusual to come across a few local champions practising new tricks. If you're a keen photographer, you'll find an inexhaustible supply of daredevils who'll be happy to help you fill your film.
> 1H45 from the house, Wild and magnificent, the nautical spotlight welcomes a huge number of kitesurfers on windy days. Although the wind isn't exactly stable due to the surrounding terrain, the water is a real change of scenery! You'll be sailing through the hills, sometimes with a view of the Pyrenees (covered in snow in winter, superb!).

Located 20 minutes from Maison d'Ulysse, the Alès Mechanical Engineering Centre Cévennes welcomes you to its car, motorbike and karting circuits. Discover Europe's first reversible speedway!
The Pôle Mécanique has new facilities to enable us to organise your incentive operation. We can even organise a meeting on site. A 1507m² reception area offering a multitude of possibilities. Fully modular thanks to removable partitions, shared sound and video equipment and quality furniture.

Karting : One of the longest tracks in Europe. Thanks to a wide variety of bends and a selective straight, the karting track is one of the most famous in France.

ACTIVITIES
Horse riding
You can choose between a small a walk around the foot of the Ulysse house through vineyards and garrigue, following the Candouillère stream and other small watercourses, or a walk in the Camargue countrysideA magical and unforgettable day on horseback. Accompanied by Marion, you will set off in a 4 x 4 to find your horse hidden behind a tamarisk tree or in the marshes. Your guide will catch your Camargue horse, which lives in complete freedom in 100 hectares of land, and will prepare it with traditional harnessing before taking it for a ride. Marion will introduce you to gardianne riding.
Throughout the day, you'll be able to admire the diversity of the Camargue's wild landscapes: its marshes, pine forests, sandy beaches and rice fields. You'll even be able to see the Camargue bulls and the many birds protected by the Natural Park, especially the many pink flamingos. You'll also have the chance to observe the latest foals in complete privacy.
